Why did you want to do the TAA/TAE Cert IV?
I had applied for some work in the NSWFB Training Centre and hadn’t been successful. I am one open doors and opportunity for myself rather than sit back and let things happen. A TAE qualification is becoming very beneficial when applying for positions in the NSWFB, NSWRFS and SES.
Why did you choose to do the TAE with Fortress Learning?
The flexibility of the learning process. Being able to work through at my own pace, quickly.
How long did it take you to do it?
2 months.
Did you do the full course, RPL, or a combination?
Combination.
How painful was the RPL process?
RPL was simple and easy to undertake.
What worked for you?
All of it! The staff were very approachable. Bryan treated me more like a friend or college as apposed to a student. I appreciated being able to work at my own pace, fairly quickly in fact.
What didn’t work for you?
It all worked very well.
What advice would you give to others considering studying this course in this way?
Certainly give Fortress a go. The flexible learning process and the on going support is fantastic. I finished a couple of months ago and am still in contact with Bryan. Looking forward to meeting him one day.
