Every now and then, a graduating student writes a Review that we believe really captures what we try to do. Instead of them ending up hidden among the others, we will share them with you, and try to explain why we think they are so appropriate.
Christina: What did she say?
The course was excellent, I had no prior learning but with Emma’s continuous help and support I was able to complete the course in six weeks. Really inexpensive compared to everywhere else that I looked and everything worked exactly as advertised. Thank you to all at Fortress Learning.
Kim: What did she say?
Excellent teaching support very kind and caring teachers who listened to what your needs are to complete the assessment tasks.
Why did this particular testimonial comment get our attention?
We had a staff meeting recently about what Fortress Learning is. Our first task was to pinpoint exactly what it is that we do best.
This was easy – we care. Like, we really do. Caring lays the foundation for every aspect of our service.
Another point we all agreed upon was that we do what we say we’re going to do. We follow through, and we follow up.
But.. how can we market these qualities effectively? How do you say “we care and we mean it” in a way that doesn’t sound vapid… and, let’s face it, a bit dorky?
And, the thing is – when people research an RTO through which to study, is caring a quality that they’re looking for?
Efficiency? You bet.
Affordability? Of course!
But caring? Maybe not.
Caring is something that people don’t realise they need until they receive it and know its worth, or feel its absence and know its worth.
We say we care … because we do. Our students know this.
Kim felt that Fortress Learning cared about her, and Christina noticed that “everything worked exactly as advertised”.
.. What better form of marketing is there? Testimonials from people who really know.
